它應該不會併購AMD吧??

雖然AMD現在不是很順....但至少不用一直換主機板...況且又較便宜...沒理由不買...而且P4和XP時脈差這麼多..贏得一點都不光彩..

有沒有人可以告訴我Sisoft Sandra 2001 所測得值所代表的義意呀? 我覺那個軟體測出來怪怪的 稍為超個100∼200MHz,成績就進步了快50% 但電腦在使用上卻沒感覺進步那麼多耶! 現在那麼多測試軟體 但看了那麼多的數據,還是看不出它的效能究竟在那裡? 請大家指導我看這些數據的方法,謝謝 |

you think a GPU of today is harder to design than a high speed CPU??
Have you have any idea how to design and layout any dynamic circuits? Wavepipelined circuits? Ever heard of Domino logic? Even centaur's statically oriented cpus can achieve much high clock than any of nv or ati's offerings on the same processes. Also do you have any experience designing an OOOE control logic? Also CPUs, especially the ones with a more complex ISA, require an extensive test and validation process. Since it have to be compatible with old softwares. while NV and co can write their own drivers so they can do bug fixes very easily on the software side. Also the power grids and clock networks used on a high clocking CPU are how harder to design since clocking skew have to be much lower. just a few reason why CPU design is more complex than gpu designs. |
