不曉得和以前的TmpgEnc有何不同?

2. Supports using DVD-VR/VIDEO　files recorded on a DVD-RAM recorder etc. as input files.
The video that authoring as DVD-Video or recorded by domestic DVD recorder, can be converted into MPEG and another format. Also for the DVD-VR/Video with AC-3 audio by extention plug-in (TMPGEnc Sound Plug-In) in TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress. *1　

3. High-quality MPEG encode engine "TMPGEnc Advance MPEG-1/2 Encode Engine" has been equiped.
An new generation of encode engine which greatly advanced the previous TMPGEnc engine. Optimization of encode process to the more high-quality further and the speed-up of 5%-30%. Moreover, TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress uses the new memory access instructions in the latest Intel Pentium 4 processor with HT Technology, the support of the New Intel Pentium4 (codename Prescott) Streaming SIMD Extension 3 and also optimize the MPEG-1/2 encoder. The CPU can realize better process performances and efficiency.

4. Support of high pression MPEG mode "XDVD(eXtended DVD) mode".
New mode "XDVD mode" was supported as enhancing of the DVD-Video standard. Though the length of GOP(Group of Pictures) is limited at 18 frames or less in the DVD-Video standard, long time recording and the high-quality can be realized for a high compression with GOP, which can be longer as more than 60 frames in XDVD. (It is possible to save ten hours or less video to a 4.7GB DVD. )　*2

5. New movie edit engine "Video Mastering Engine(VME)".
The application of New movie edit engine has optimized for the cutting edit and the filter processing etc. High-speed seek and the audio preview, etc. in the edit window is realized.

6. New audio engine "Advanced Acoustic Engine".
For reduces the audio quality deterioration of MPEG-1 Audio Layer2(MP2) which is a standard audio of MPEG format to the minimum, new audio engine "Advanced Acoustic Engine" has developed for the highest audio quality in MPEG standard.

7. Now possible to decode and encode in Dolby Digital AC-3 sound(2ch) with TMPGEnc Sound Plug-In AC-3 (TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress with AC-3)
It has supported with extention plug-in (TMPGEnc Sound Plug-In AC-3) which has been released from the winter of 2003. Input/output of a Dolby Digital Audio becomes possible. When in the DVD, the Dolby Digital Audio are used, this plug-in is needed.

8. Support "Windows Media File（WMV9）"*3　
With the use of various filter features and the correction functions that equiped in TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress, encode the Windows Media File of the high quality of both Audio and Video. It can support also 5.1ch audio for the input source and output as Windows Media File of 5.1ch audio.


*1　For reading DVD-VR data, which correspond to the reading drive need to correspond to the media, like as UDF2.0 reader etc. If the environment of Windows cannot treat the file like the file copy etc. by a usual operation, this function cannot be used. Moreover, the copyright DVD cannot be reloaded.
*2 "TMPGEnc DVD Author1.5" is necessary for writing the XDVD file in DVD media. Pegasys do not guarantee the reproduction can playback in all DVD players for the different specification from a standard DVD-Video.
*3 The file with protected WMV(ASF) file and Seekable attributed cannot be loaded.

It has supported with extention plug-in
(TMPGEnc Sound Plug-In AC-3) which has been released
from the winter of 2003. Input/output of
a Dolby Digital Audio becomes possible.

官網就可以買啦，這種程式台灣會有代理商想引進才有鬼

至於AC3，會不會是因為有權利金
加上考量也有很多人是不需要AC3功能的
所以就分開來賣？？？
