The latency test of Cpu-2 tells us that the (6 MB) L3 cache latency is 42-43 cycles at 2.2 GHz (seen from a 2.7 GHz CPU). Not bad at all as the same 2 MB cache did 48 cycles at 2 GHz on Barcelona (2.5 GHz CPU). So it seems that the latency has decreased while the L3-cache is 3 times bigger. The Cache subsystem is now one of the strongpoints of AMD compared to Intel's Nehalem.  這意味著上海的L3效能是有進步的???????(翻譯錯誤請大大指證  )不管上海是否戰勝的了Nehalem，希望可以賣便宜一點可以讓我無痛升級  大學生可是很窮的  此文章於 2008-11-15 04:02 PM 被 papagox 編輯. |

看到AMD跟自己比有進步，挺讓弟高興的；
不過，如果一直吃Intel FB-DIMM的豆腐， 那肯定還是會讓人看不起的  一進個人市場，就必須見真章了。

評估整個平台的耗電量本來就是用整體來做比較不是嗎? 畢竟不是整台電腦只有cpu吃電, 所以FB-DIMM會被放進去一起比也是正常的, 要不然就intel就想辦法讓FB-DIMM變省電, 不然FB-DIMM一直會是耗電的禍首 |
