請教前輩，seem+ving在字典裡是沒有這種用法，但現實中真的有人使用這種用法，是什麼情況下才可用呢？謝謝。
seem+ving在字典裡是沒有這種用法，但小弟在文章中有看過seem+ving的用法，上網google，seem+ving真的有人在用，以下是小弟google前人討論這用法的貼文。
"Politicians have been notoriously untrustworthy, non-transparent, and seem lacking in morality, ethics and honesty," quoted from BBC News. 但小弟實在不懂，如果seem+ving可用，是什麼情況下才可用呢？謝謝。 |

我的理解是動詞後面要再接動詞的話，後面的動詞要用to+V或是Ving

#3則回應跟樓主問題相同 有人的回應是: It's not wrong. There are circumstances in which you can use seem + verbing, and others in which you cannot. It's correct here, maybe because it's being used entirely in an adjectival way, to describe a quality. When it's used to describe an activity - he seems to be walking to work O - we cannot use it: he seems walking to work. X I propose this distinction tentatively. I am not a grammarian. 他的想法是作形容的用法可用seem + v-ing 用作描述動作，應用seem to be + v-ing

看了這篇，感覺可像許多動詞後面＋to+v，表示未來想做的事或願望，而+Ving則像是一種現階段的狀態、情況等的展現，但小弟用感覺來看，小弟自己都覺得抽象。

he seems working 他應該是在上班吧
he seems to be walking to work 看來他要走路去上班 我的理解是這樣

因為lacking本身就是形容詞，walking不是形容詞

working只有在後面接名詞時是形容詞 seem通常接形容詞，直接接名詞子具通常是省略to be，"to be+名詞子句"是描述狀態- > 形容詞。 他應該是在上班吧 >> He seems to be at work. |
