應為不同組織有自己的團隊/積分，BOINC 只是提供一個計算介面。

也就是說參與 SETI 的部分是參與 SETI，參與 World Community Grid 是參與 World Community Grid... etc。

其中，World Community Grid 與之前 UD 類似，可選擇自己想參與的 Project，例如目前可選：

FightAIDS@Home
Genome Comparison
Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy (只有 UD Client 可用的樣子)
Help Defeat Cancer
Human Proteome Folding 2

以 Windows 為例，World Community Grid (縮寫 WCG) 有 UD 與 BOINC 兩種 Client 端，看個人習慣。其中：
(1) BOINC 有 Win/MAC/Linux 版，但 UD 只有 Win 版可用。
(2) BOINC 可加入不同組織，UD for WCG 只能算 WCG。
(3) BOINC 改版比較勤，UD 很慢。
(4) BOINC 在多 CPU 可自動同時跑多 Task。

至於要用 伯克萊的 BOINC 用戶端，還是加入史丹佛的 Folding 計畫，就看個人囉。
