Well.... I don't understand what you talk. I work for a U.S company so maybe I am not familiar with the company style in Taiwan. You think you're just making a joke. How do you know the other people (including your co-workers) feel like the same way? As a group leader, you should understand everything you said can affect other people and the performance of your group. You can't say that is just a joke because all the other people are laughing! I will feel very confused if my boss is like your style.

Perhaps you live in U.S too long and loss some reading capabilities in Chinese. Tell me, how do you interprete "不然妳叫他再來買一次，我就送他"? For me, it is clear enough, not because the other people were laughing, but just because I understand he was actually saying "You can not give him that unless he come buying again".
Pretty simple instruction, isn't it?
