I think it means 6800ultra DDL could be connected to "two" 30" apple cinema displays, both on 2560*1600 high resolution. Even if you have only "one" 30" apple cinema display, you still need 6800ultra DDL, which was especially designed for 30" apple cinema display. DDL is one of DVI-connector modes. Search GOOGLE and you will find more pictures about DVI modes.
