當你能理解他為什麼這麼做的時候，這了解才剛開始。


這麼翻對嗎?

Why? You will (還是would) understand if you were him.

It's just the beginning of the comprehension, when you understand why he did so.

當你能理解他為什麼這麼做的時候，這了解才剛開始。

When you understand why you know you are not you you are him and he is not you, this is not the end but the start which can also be a beginngin but not really a start until the end is coming.

Why? You could understand if you were him.

It's just the beginning, when you understand why he did so.

Why? If you were him, you would understand.

And once you understood why he did this, this understanding is just a beginning.

用倒裝語氣會強一點:
Not until you were he can't you realize the reason why.

(2)當你能理解他為什麼這麼做的時候，這了解才剛開始。
Understanding just begins while you begin understanding him.
