Dear All:
PL-3507更新韌體確實可以上16x，全程速度穩定，未更新前（韌體版本2003.10月)，介面速率為18M僅可上12~14x，但是更新為2004.09.07以後則可提升1394介面速率到28M，USB2.0也有23M，均大於16x所需之22M，因此只要周邊跟的上，PL-3507C所提供之介面可保證16x燒錄穩定。
由於我的Notebook之硬碟僅為4200r，可能無法時時提供16x高速燒錄時之來源需求，所以緩衝區沒有PC磁碟陣列穩定，但是燒錄時間差不到十秒，目前接在PC上之USB2.0與1394，實測全滿整片DVD於A08 16x燒錄需時6:30左右，8x需7:30，但只差一分鐘。

結論：PL-3507C之USB2.0與1394，確實可以全速燒錄，不過有的系統環境下，12x以後速度會自動掉下來，兩個介面燒錄時均不會有系統嚴重延遲的情形，好像放在背景跑一樣，USB2.0的表現竟然跟1394差不多（之前用Cypress AT2真的很差，只能上4x，系統又會延遲）。

韌體更新流程：
1. Run ROMWriter program under Windows.
2. Plug-in device thru USB port. Wait for device to be properly detected.
3. Click "Read ROM" button to read current firmware date code of device.
4. Click "Load File" button and "Enable verification".
5. Load the updated firmware hex file.
6. Click Update button to update.
7. If OK, safely remove (unplug) the device.
8. Reset the power of the device (power off and on) to reset the firmware.
9. Plug-in device to USB port again.
10. Click "Read ROM" button to check if firmware has been updated.

1. 開啟RomWriter(有三個版本，可測試哪一個試合你的外接盒)
2. 把外接盒接上USB port (必須使用USB介面更新韌體)，等待電腦偵測到裝置。
3. 點選RomWriter之"Read Rom"，並備份原本之韌體。
4. 點選"Enable verification"
5. 點選"Load File"，選取欲更新韌體之.hex檔。
6. 點選"Update"即可更新。
7. 更新完後，選擇"安全移除裝置"把USB移除。
8. 關閉外接盒電源再打開，以重置韌體。
9.10.接上裝置，然後執行"Read Rom"，以確認韌體是否已更新。
