是已經有一台 cable modem 還是沒有? 有 cable 的頭不見得有接上 telstra broadband cable. 如果還沒有 subscribe telstra cable 的話, 直接去跟 telstra 簽, 他會給你一台 modem 或者乾脆不要用 cable, 其它 ISP 的 ADSL 會比 telstra 好太多. 全澳洲沒有一家 ISP 有 unlimited download, 都是到一個配額之後限速 如果已經有 cable modem 的話, 你需要得是一個 wireless router/switch, 接上 cable modem, 然後大家可以 share 一個 connection. |

if i remember correctly Vodafone好像有 online service用PCMIA card, 3G也有 www.three.com.au www.vodafone.com.au 不過 想要爽還是自己裝吧

我認為最簡單的方法
是買一台Wireless LAN broadband router來分享 接法: Telstra Cable --- [ Motorola SB4200] ---- [ WLAN router] 之後你再用wireless LAN接上boradband router Cable Internet的username和password應該是設在broadband router上 我父母家是用Optus Cable, 我也是相同的方法幫我妹接 我用的broadband router是NetGear的.

Netgear broadband router can range from $99.00 AUD to 200+ AUD
Depends on the features you aer buying.
