Prescott熱量高不是1MB L2的關係嗎?不然沒到道理製程進步但是發熱量卻提高這麼多。

不全然是L2快取的問題,而是在轉成90nm時,技術尚未完全克服 加上設計不良,導至漏電流爆增,發熱量也上升....好熱好熱..... ![]()

那Dothan呢? 2M的L2,功耗與發熱量都小很多 新技術不一定就好,若是尚未完全掌握的技術是會得到反效果 Prescott的高熱只能說是架構與製程問題,SST的製程技術還未完全成熟,導致漏電大增... 原本的SST是把矽原子團"拉開"以期減少電流的損耗,降低功率與熱量,但是現在看來卻... 希望傳說中的6xx/7xx系列能改善 (A1製程?)
