裝一張30幾萬的網卡需要什麼樣的主機配備？

如果公司監控網路封包用伺服器
那要看公司的traffic 夠不夠大，曾經白痴裝一個intel 爛卡去做sniffer 馬上燒死，看樓主哪張，感覺像是連哪種會被router drop 封包的封包都可以擷取超高檔sniffer 級的網卡所以hdd跟主機要弄好一點不然cpu光分析封包都來不及了。

硬碟部分，因為是測試機，所以資料不重要
該機器主要的用途有點像路邊監視器
至於這張卡為何這麼貴...
紐西蘭原廠那邊制訂的價錢一開始就是這麼貴

小弟幾年前也玩過類似的東西，不過沒用到這麼好的卡就是，但是樓主現在說要組測試機，是要測試什麼？如果只是測測功能，那當然隨便組一台可插PCI-X的機器看看軟硬體可不可以跑即可，但是如果要測Throughput等壓力測試，這樣的機器小弟覺得錄不了多久，卡沒爆機器會先爆。

以前在做類似的壓力測試，大都是借個可以狂灌封包的儀器，然後測Switch到網卡到側錄主機紀錄的能耐，通常瓶頸不一定是會在網卡上，有時Switch就先掛了，有時是側錄主機撐不住，不過這都要試過才會知道。
