Been away for too long, this has mostly been due to the reason for me not having a monitor and using the TV as my monitor. Currently GSmax is going very well and progress is coming along nicely. It would have been released way before had it not been the issue with the ATi cards. The problem was that I was getting some very odd results using ATi cards, the following examples will show in Bios ( note this is running the same version of the bios and pcsx2 with the exact configurations ).

ATi Radeon 9600 Pro 12Fps
ATi Radeon 9700 Pro 18Fps
ATi Radeon 9800 16Fps

As compared to NVidia :

NVidia GeForce 4 MX 420 (PCI) 12Fps
NVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 13-15Fps
NVidia GeForce 4 (Rest) 20-30Fps
NVidia GeForceFX 5200 8-12Fps
NVidia GeForceFX 5600 20Fps
NVidia GeForceFX 5900 Ultra 40-50Fps

As you can judge from the above, ATi cards either don't like my techniques or their current drivers suck at the extensions I'm using. I've mostly been working on fixing this issue as majority of the people are switching to ATi cards. This may come as a surprise after the issues pointed out by the Half-Life 2 Benchmarks, but NVidia still has the OpenGL crown.

Coming back to the WIP, lots of issues have been fixed, and speed is going along very nicely ( increasing as I discover and fix some more bugs ). Bositman will post some screenshots showing the progress of GSmax ( note he is using a GeForce 2). Though a release is still a month away as I don't have a monitor ( which really hampers the development as reading text on a TV sucks big time! ). So hope this satisfies most of the questions that have been arising.

Plus I'm also offering one beta-testing position, so send me your PC configs and if I find any worthy, you'll recieve a WIP ( nothing against the others but I don't want issues raised for a beta! ).

拜託！PS2 EMU 離可玩還很久吧！
只有幾個 DEMO 加上畫面不全的遊戲，等到完成了再說吧！
那時就一定有 DX9 ATi 的 plugin，一切到時候再說吧！

恩...沒錯...還要再等一陣子...到時ATI一定會有修正程式
故現階段仍然是9800Pro稱王

所以 !! 留下 ATI 也入手 nVidia !!
然後就像我... 要吃很多很久的 礦泉水(加油送的...) 和 泡麵(福利中心9塊一包)
剩下就靠朋友同事同學公司養咧~~

對啊…只為了一個不能玩的模擬器，
opengl nv的效能會比較好嗎？doom3就是用opengl的，nv的卡如果用arb2模式來跑的話是被r300電假的…
dx9就更不用說了，不知道nv現在的優勢在哪？

在這討論 EMU 已經離題了，不過我要提醒你
在 N64 EMU 也是剛開始也是一堆用 OpenGL 開發的，可是現在最成熟的還是 Project64 DX7，這跟 NV or OpenGL 開發沒有太大關係，雖然Project64 DX7 GF2 開發，現在在我的 ATi 7500 也是跑的很不錯。

改X1是什麼.....賣6000還有點興趣
