當初K7時代好像就有給聯電與台積電小量試產過!! 但.......好像是良率太差跟代工價錢關係??? 後來就給新加坡的特許...... |

在下覺得應該是只有GPU訂單 CPU應該是沒辦法
理由有二: 1.SOI製程太獨特 目前似乎沒有代工廠可以提供這種製程.而X86架構跟Fab的關係太緊密 在下不認為AMD會為了能給TSMC代工而調整設計(或著是放棄SOI製程亦然) 2.TSMC代工CPU的成效不好 之前Transmeta的Crusoe最早也是給TSMC代工 但是後來因為不滿意TSMC的能力 轉單Fujitsu 而VIA的C7則是一開始就交由IBM代工.架構上相對簡單Crusoe跟C7都做不好了 很難讓人對架構複雜度高很多的K系列抱太高期望. |
