I just ordered about a dozen SACD's from www.hmv.com. They're a Canadian retailer, and the prices work out to about $16.50/disc in US $, with free shipping. They all had to special ordered. I have received 1 title, and have been waiting about 2 weeks on the rest. I wasn't able to find any cheaper source and HMV seemed to list all of the current titles, except the new Keb Mo disc. Other sources I found were amazon.com and elusivedisc.com, but their prices weren't as good. If anyone knows of a better source than hmv.com for SACD's please let us know!

Is there a "master list" somewhere of all the SACD's available to date? My 9000ES will be delivered soon, and I want some material to play. Any help would be appreciated!

Just got 7 more SACD's from www.hmv.com yesterday. Still have 4 on backorder. I placed my order about 2 weeks ago. All discs have came out to about $16.50 US $. It may take a little while, but I doubt anyone has SACD's for cheaper. Note that when you place an order the total is shown in Canadian $. However, based on current exchange rates they have been charging me approximately $16.50/disc. Free shipping too! So far, I'm happy with their service and intend to order more SACD's from them.

Amazon has a listing for several SACD's, but they aren't discounted much, and most don't appear to be on-hand.
You can also find a list of SACD's at Sony's music site, and they can be ordered from there as well. Since I believe only Sony is offering SACD recordings at this time (other than specialty recordings such as Telarc), this should be a pretty full listing of what is available. They can be found at http://thestore.sonymusic.com/thestore/music.asp and click on the Format link and select SACD.

I just placed an order with www.hmv.com and their prices are hard to beat for SACDs. I compared prices with several vendors, no contest.

Sells Sony Single Layer SACD's for $21.99

Just for comparison Jeff Beck's "Blow by Blow" is $21.99 at The Elusive Disc and $24.99 at HMV. Of course, you pay shipping with Elusive, so a multi-order probably is better comparison-wise

The $24.99 price at HMV is in Canadian dollars. That works out to about $16.50 U.S. $ per disc. HMV's site does not show any U.S. pricing. I've ordered a bunch of discs from them, however, and rest assured that they charge you the U.S. $ equivalent. Their service has been excellent so far and I won't hesitate to order from them again. Elusive Disc also seems to be excellent and probably has the best prices of any U.S. retailer on SACDs.

Tom's right about HMV's price $24.99 (Canadian) price which translates to $16.50 (US). Free shipping for four or more discs. I had to pay shipping because I ordered one disc. HMV is still the best price for SACDs.

You want to buy 24 pcs sacd or xrcd format cd.
It needs a lot of money. Is it a gift for someone? Do you have sacd player?
For my experience ,The sacd format is better than xrcd format with playing at the traditional cd player.
Yesterday ,I bought an hybird sacd "Audiophile reference IV" recorded by FIM which costs 1090 NTD at 38.C .There is a chapter "MISTY" same as "A WORLD OF LOVE" xrcd format. I found sacd format is better than xrcd . If you have sacd player(I don't) , I think you will find amazing difference .I have browsed through the fim web site. Recently, it will release some sacd titles which xrcd format are available.
For example ,"JAZZ AT THE PAWSHOP" will release sacd at july .For my view ,xrcd will be substituted by sacd in future. It isn't worth buying xrcd anymore.
