ASUS 新音效卡 Xonar DX 發表

採用PCI Express介面7.1聲道之音效卡Xonar DX D/A chip 為Cirrus-Logic CS4398(兩聲道)Cirrus-Logic CS4362A(六聲道) A/D chip 為Cirrus-Logic CS5361 皆為Cirrus-Logic公司相當高階的晶片(其中CS4398也為著名的EMU 1212m採用) 更驚人的是該卡支援EAX 5.0 令人猜疑是否使用了creative 的DSP音效控制晶片 (之前creative有開始開放授權自家晶片予其他廠商使用 但實際產品很少) 從圖片看來有兩顆較大的晶片 極像是類似EMU系列音效卡的雙晶片配置 (一個音效控制晶片 外加一FPGA晶片) |

With support for the innovative DS3D GX 2.0 technology, the Xonar DX automatically supports the latest EAX and DirectSound HW after installation without the need to search for additional drivers or OpenAL – as most games are DS3D/DirectX compatible. 看仔細點比較好,意思是說可以讓DS跟EAX5.0特效的遊戲在Vista下有 多聲道表現,不是有支援EAX5.0,這點之前的Xonar D2就有了 AV100應該就是CMI8787,另外的晶片可能是橋接用的 這張應該是拿來打XtremeGamer,但也許價格沒多久就會跟XtremeAudio差不多 |

進來台灣差不多 3.5k 左右 不過這張和之前的 D2 定位相較之下比較低端
