請問一下，更新韌體有什麼好處呀?

PowerShot G2 Firmware Update (Ver. 1.1.0.0)

Firmware update Ver. 1.1.0.0 provides the following user benefit:

1.Supports Direct Print Function for CP-100 Photo Printer
2.Supports Direct Print Function for Direct Print Compatible BJ printers
3.Supports Exif 2.2
4.Supports ON/OFF selection of the power-saving mode while connected to a computer


Firmware update Ver. 1.1.0.0 provides the following modification:

1.Modifies the firmware so that the exposure compensation settings apply in the movie mode
2.Corrects the phenomenon that tended to make the image overexposed or underexposed after taking more than two photos in the high speed continuous shooting mode
3.Corrected the phenomenon that caused occasional CF write errors when taking photos in the high speed continuous shooting mode


This firmware also includes the following content that is already supported by the previous firmware update (Ver. 1.0.1.0):

1.Improvement of the camera's internal charging function when the BP-511/BP-512 battery pack is over-discharged

請問水貨更新會不會出問題啊?!
更新過程似乎要用到讀卡機~~~沒有讀卡機怎麼辦?!
我ㄉ是s30ㄉ~~~有沒有人更新成功啊?!
我怕更新時會當機說~~~~~

更新的時候不見得需要讀卡機,讀讀他的Readme檔,說的很清楚

copy到cf卡裡ㄝ~~~可能是我英文不好ㄅ~~~你可否告訴我如何用ㄋ?!

如果你沒有讀卡機裝置 則更新CANON韌體方式如下(以S40作範例)

1.插入 CF 卡片在 PowerShot S40 之內，而且用USB電纜連結它到個人電腦。
2.點擊”S40_ FirmUpdate1100”資料夾中之"UPLOADFIRMWARE.EXE執行檔，而且跟隨指令以便”DC97”文件夾自動上傳至 CF 卡片中
3.上傳完畢後，將相機和電腦分離並開啟像機至撥放模式
4.按MENU選單並點擊Firm Update
5.按" SET"並點選" OK"
6.更新時間約90秒，期間請勿關閉電源或操作其他按鍵
7.更新完畢後，像機會自動關機
8.若更新失敗切勿關閉電源，請重複步驟(4)再操作一次


PS 更新前 CF卡 請先FORMAT 並請致放至少2MB以上之CF卡
操作中切忌關閉電源
