G550硬軟體衝突？

近其中將購買G550
不料居然看到這個狀況
(1)有DX的問題
(2)DVD播放有問題
前輩們有解呼？

We are having major problems with the new G550 card. We have sold a Dell Dimension 8200 machine to a customer and they have had to return the computer to us twice now, both times due to Matrox display drivers and DirectX support or lack thereof.

Our first problem was with WindowsXP we installed the G550 off the installation cd and had problems running programs that used DirectX, the mouse pointer would have a box underneath it every time you hovered over a textbox. When displaying a DirectDraw graphic in a window there would be lines across the image in full screen mode these lines disappeared but back in windowed mode these line were pretty much visible. We tried installing the latest Matrox drivers and still had this problem. We double-checked our DX code there is no problem there. It works fine on other graphics cards. So we got the machine off the customer and put WindowsMe on it. That takes us to our second problem.

The second problem, we have tried 4 different DVD software players all with the same effect, they dont play a DVD! The messages returned all have something to do with DirectDraw support. So we reinstalled DirectDraw still the problem arose. We have tried WinDVD, PowerDVD, PowerDVD XP and Matrox DVD player. Each DVD player gave a DirectDraw error. Mostly something like 'Current Display mode is not supported. DDraw Overlay mode recommended....etc.etc'.

I have reinstalled Me, started from fresh, nothing on there but the Matrox windows driver yet I still have the problem. I have taken out the Matrox card and put in an RAGE ATI Pro and wonder of wonders the DVD plays!! So I know it is a problem with the Matrox Drivers. Our customer is not very happy at all, we are not very happy, we have lost alot of money because of this. I would appreciate any help you could give on the matter.

We are using the standard Dell Dimension 8200 machine.
