ATI Radeon Firmware update

1) Extract LEflash.zip to a blank floppy.
It will create a bootable disk with all the files you need.
2) Boot your machine from this disk.
3) Find out what # your card is by typing (flashrom.exe -i)
it will probably be 0 unlees you have 2 cards in your system.
4) I have got a copy of my LE bios on the disk already but if you
want to save your own type (flash.exe -s 0 xxxx.rom)
5) Be brave and type (flashrom.exe -p 0 r32ddr.rom) and hit enter
and wait untill done, reboot, you now have a retail 32ddr.

嗯...每個人來了這個討論區(其他討論區也一樣)的確是要積極點才對!!積極的熟悉討論區的一些基本功能,不然"搜尋文章"這個基本功能好像就沒有它存在的價值跟意義了!!

但我的Radeon並不是 Radeon LE , 而是"標準版"Radeon 32M DDR , 然而我想知道的是要如何用"傳統的"更新方式來更新我的Radeon , 並非Radeon LE改Radeon 32M DDR , 搜尋我也用過了 , 就是找不到我要的東西 , 所以我才會問呀!!

那我請問在ATI的網站上可否找到新版的BIOS????
有哪個網站有教詳細更新顯示卡BIOS的方法(還是更新Radeon BIOS的方法與其它顯示卡不同)請和我說一下..Thanks!!

2) Copy the bios file you need to the disk


3) Boot your machine from this disk.


4) Find out what # your card is by typing (flashrom.exe -i ) it will probably be 0 unless you have 2 cards in your system.


5) !!! Backup your bios !!! Type (flashrom.exe -s 0 backup.rom) Your bios will be saved as backup.rom


6) Be brave and type (flashrom.exe -p 0 xxx.rom) (xxx=bios name) and hit enter and wait until done, remove the disk and reboot, you have now flashed your card.


Type (flashrom.exe /?) for all the command line options
