首部盜版HD DVD電影現身BT網站
據國外媒體報導，近日在BT網站上出現了第一部被破解的HD DVD電影，這部名為Serenity的HD DVD電影，可以在大多數DVD播放軟體上觀看，例如PowerDVD等。由於解析度較高，檔案達19.6GB。
先前一位網路為ID『Muslix64』的網友在網上宣稱，利用自己編寫的BackupHD DVD軟體，可以破解高畫質DVD的版權保護機制，成功地將藍光DVD光碟的視迅檔案複製出來。破解籃光DVD只需要獲得光碟的Volume或者標題密鑰(Title Key)。但為了避免法律責任，Muslix64沒有公佈其是如何獲得這些密鑰的。 影片供應商認為將來可以修改被盜版的密鑰，防止新的HD DVD電影再度遭盜版，但是現在的關鍵是找出這次盜版事件的破解軟體。PowerDVD的開發廠商CyberLink已經否認，用戶可以從他們的軟體中獲取標題密鑰。

目前有十幾部了,而且這已經是很久的消息了,同一個作者聽說也破解了blu ray...
