NVIDIA "G80" Retail Details Unveiled
DirectX 10 compliant的GeForce 8800GTX and 8800GTS
DailyTech得到關於GeForce 8800系列GPU與零售產品的更多資訊。新的NVIDIA顯示卡架構將充分地與微軟的即將來臨的DirectX 10 API相容和支援對於shader model 4.0來代表公司的第8個世代的GPU GeForce家庭。 NVIDIA命名了代碼為G80的產品為GeForce 8800系列。當7900和7800系列發射了採用GT和GTX代號以後, G80將廢除GT代號。反而 NVIDIA恢復了從GeForce 2以後就不曾使用過的GTS代號。 NVIDIA的GeForce 8800GTX將是指標性產品。核心時脈將被設定在575Mhz。所有的GeForce 8800GTX顯示卡將配置GDDR3記憶體共768MB, 時脈被設定在900Mhz(1800Mhz),GeForce 8800GTX將有384-bit memory interface和86GB/second的記憶體頻寬。GeForce 8800GTX顯示卡的128 unified shaders時脈將達到1350Mhz。理論紋理填裝率大約每秒38.4 Billion Pixels。 在8800GTX的下面將有GeForce 8800GTS 。這些顯示卡一樣將採用G80 GPU但是核心時脈被設定在更慢的500Mhz。記憶體配置為與8800GTX也有稍微的不同 。GeForce 8800GTS顯示卡將裝配GDDR3共640MB,時脈一樣為900Mhz(1800M)。但記憶體interface被減少到320-bit並且整體記憶頻寬也減為64GB/second 。GeForce 8800GTS顯示卡將採用96 unified shaders設計。時脈預定為1200Mhz。 另外GeForce 8800GTX 和8800GTS產品也是 HDCP compliant和Support for dual dual-link DVI, VIVO和HDTV的產品。所有顯示卡將採用雙重槽孔的散熱器。 目前GeForce 8800GTX和8800GTS產品預計在2006年11月第二個星期發佈。 Dailytech |

unified shader, 沒在分幾管了吧...=.=
GTX 有 128 個, GTS有 96個shader...

太耗電了 沒啥搞頭 90nm的宿命就是這樣 等g80出半年後 可能就會出80nm甚至70nm版本的g80 等那時看看能不能改善些 期待r600也快上市! |

而且我想, 會有 256bit + 256bit... 1G DDR4 的 8900 GTX...
然後再來個雙GPU的 8950GX2 好像一直都是這樣?

太耗電....還好吧. gts單張系統power推薦400w gtx單張系統power推薦450w 和以前6800系列也差不多吧. 反而是r600的耗電程度比較令人憂心吧. |
