測試就只用CPU、RAM、VGA、PSU與USB光碟機，其他都不接
CPU：AMD Athlon XP 2500+ with 333MHz front side bus
RAM：(A)金士頓 DDR 400 512MB
(B)創見 DDR 400 512MB
VGA：(A)ELSA nVIDIA GeFORCE MX400 32MB
(B)耕宇 nVIDIA GeFORCE Ti500 64MB
PSU：(A)台達350W
(B)偉訓300W
OS：WINDOWS XP SP2
外接盒：以兩個皆使用緯創的晶片
光碟機：MATASHITA DVD-ROM SR-8588
TEAC CD-W540E
以上的配備交叉測試之後在我的an7皆無法使用usb光碟開機成功
XP光碟開機載入驅動程式在要轉換成中文訊息畫面時會出現下列藍底白字訊息

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you`ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.
If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard dreve controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

兩台光碟機內接時光碟開機也成功

我們己經收到您送的 AN7 了, 也在這裡測試過, 並沒有看到您說的情況, 在我們這裡這張主機板是可以用外接 USB CD-ROM 安裝作業系統的.

如果我沒有記錯的話, 您在去年十月份也有來信問過相同的問題, 我們當時也在這裡花了相當長的時間做測試, 但是並沒有發生一樣的問題. 建議您先把所有其它的設備都移除, 無論是 USB 或是 PCI device, 只留下 CPU, VGA 卡, dram, power harddisk 跟 USB CD-ROM 來試看看, 如果還是不行, 請先試著換一個 USB 外接裝置看看.
