Did I burned my CPU???????
I got a new heatstink for my AMD ATHLON XP 1700+, and I forgot the plug the power for the fan at first, but I noticed that right after I pressed the power bottom, so basically, I have my system up for less them 5 seconds without fan on, do you think I can burn my CPU like that?

Two month ago, I forgot plug the heatskin, and then the cpu(1600+)burned-out in 1sec.In your situation, you plug the heatskin at least. So, I don't think your cpu will be burned-out so soon.

i can boot up, install windows, and play diablo 2 also. But I am just worry about it

Last week I back home(end of mid-exam 2 free day),My fan has a plug to turn it's speed.When I leave I truned it to lower speed,but 2days later
is was showe down.Shit the temp show {H.H.H}.It's so crezy.I turn off it so quiekly.It is too hot to touch it(I guess it was mabey 100℃). About 30 mins later I try to turn on it again,U can't beleive that....it's okey......Luckly........ha My cpu is Athlon 1G oc 1.5g (1.75v) |
