This is the best flashlight on the Planet. There were only 85 of these sold to civilians and they are no longer available from SureFire. Each unit has a serial number (x of 100). The serial number of this unit is 24 of 100. I asked Surefire what happened to the other 15 units. They responded that they were a reserve supply to be kept in the safe and a few of them are reserved for SureFire executives.

SureFire has discontinued all advertising of "The Beast" on their web site. The following is from Surefire's web site from a time when "The Beast" was still available:

The Beast is the most powerful flashlight SureFire has ever produced for civilian sale. Utilizing a xenon-fill high-intensity discharge (HID) arc lamp, it puts out 2000 lumens of blinding white light — 120 times the light output of a typical two D-cell alkaline flashlight. HID lamps are extremely efficient — for an equivalent power input they provide more than twice the lumens of incandescent lamps. An additional benefit: they have no filament to break or burn out so they should never need replacing.

The Beast is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum with an extremely rugged Military Specification Type III hard-anodized finish. It features a unique rotating switch — push counter-clockwise for momentary-on or twist clockwise for constant-on — and a lock-out tailcap to prevent accidental activation during transportation or storage.

Designed for open-area tactical applications such as border patrol, maritime interdiction, and long-range target identification, The Beast performs under all weather conditions. And it’s brutally tough — so resistant to mechanical shock and vibration that the U.S. military has adapted a version for use on heavy machine guns.

Power is supplied to the Beast by twenty 123 lithium batteries held securely inside four cylindrical chambers machined into the flashlight body. In combination with the highly efficient HID lamp, these energy-dense batteries provide a remarkable runtime of 1.5 hours.

Only 85 Beasts are being offered for sale to private citizens. Limited to one per customer and available exclusively through SureFire, each one is serial numbered and comes in its own waterproof, airtight Hardigg Storm Case® along with a letter of authenticity from SureFire founder and CEO John Matthews.

應該是氙氣手電筒,氙注音是ㄒ一ㄢ

氙,稀有氣體元素,符號Xe 英文單字為xenon

我本來以為是拿來治病的...

我也以為是拿來治疝氣的手電桶
真的是讓我長了知識...

對LP照射一個小時,應該可以讓DLP縮回去, 所以是可以治疝氣的!!
