Is there anybody still use Ghost? What's advantage?
I'm new to Ghost 10.
I heard many friends talking about Ghost. As my knowledge, it seems to provide backup/restore whole partition if your computer has something wrong. I was successful to copy all files in boot hard drive to secondary hard drive and boot from secondary hard drive. What's the advantage of Ghost? Faster restore? I don't care. Compress and save hard drive space? 80GB costs your less than NT$2000. |

ghost 是好物。 不過這個好物只出到 8.2 版。 ghost 9 和 10 都是 driveimage, 不是 ghost。真正的 ghost 是可以在 dos 下執行的，可以變化萬千。 driveimage 只能在 windows 底下執行，彈性就小很多了。如果把 ghost 當作資料 backup/restore 軟體，那他的確不怎麼好用。但是對於各式各樣的裝機方法，ghost 有一席之地。 可惜 symantec 大概要放棄 ghost 這麼棒的東西了, 如果能在它死後把它 opensource 移植到 linux 平台，不知有多好!! 此文章於 2005-11-26 12:11 PM 被 tbsky 編輯. |
