好消息…KR7A正式發表!! 是HPT372哦…
以下由國外新聞搞擷取出來!!重點是HPT 372 built-in哦…
 Taipei, Taiwan, Monday, November 5, 2001- ABIT is proud to introduce the KR7A-RAID. Based on VIA's KT266A northbridge and VT8233 southbridge, the KR7A-RAID is engineered to take your PC to the next level of stability and performance. The KR7A-RAID includes the HPT372 controller, which adds ATA 133 RAID support. It also brings 2 additional IDE channels which, when added to the 2 native channels, gives you support for up to 8 IDE devices! ATA 133 with a 133 MB/sec transfer rate, RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring), and RAID 0+1 (striping + mirroring) are all supported by the KR7A-RAID. By using two hard disks, a RAID 0 array can split information evenly between the two, effectively doubling performance. RAID 1 is a mirroring setup that dramatically improves your data integrity. RAID 0+1 gives the user the performance of RAID 0 and the security of RAID 1. 相信再過不久就可在零售市場買到了!!!!

Windows XP雖然內建了HPT370/372的驅動程式
但是弟在Iwill XP333上實際測試起來後發現 無論是使用Windows XP內建的驅動程式 還是Iwill提供的HPT372原廠驅動程式 都有無法正常使用的情況發生! 必須另外下載修正程式才能正常使用 不知道Abit KR7-Raid會不會有相同的問題....

不知Adol 兄是測試那一版的BIOS/Driver?
2.0.1019 是最新的…我想這版就應該有決解問題了… 且BIOS/Driver都要更新成同個版本…

XP333可以跑DDR333應該會比kt266快吧

XP333在使用DDR333規格記憶體後的效能上
的確是勝過使用KT-266A晶片組的主機板 但在使用相同的DDR266記憶體時 使用KT-266A的主機板仍是較為領先的態勢! 以上是單就記憶體頻寬上的表現而言 至於其他項目的比較 弟現仍在製作測試當中 您可以先前往PioPio's Hardware的網站上先睹為快! PioPio兄已經為XP333做了相當完整的測試與報告 弟強烈推薦您前往欣賞欣賞 For Liquid兄: 弟在更新新版驅動程式後確實已解決問題 而Iwill方面也表示11月中旬即將上市的XP333將不會有這樣的臭蟲產生 希望大家安心購買使用
