有關IRA 1981年獄中絕食的電影誰知?
看到有人為政治紛爭要絕食(應該是"斷食?")
使我想到有這部電影 但忘記名稱 請問有誰知道?有人看過嗎?感想如何? 真多謝! |

有兩部片子.........
Some Mother's Son (1996) Based on the true story of the 1981 hunger strike in a British prison, in which IRA prisoner Bobby Sands led a protest against the treatment of IRA prisoners as criminals rather than as prisoners of war. The film focuses on the mothers of two of the strikers, and their struggle to save the lives of their sons.  The Rising of the Moon (2002) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0320370/ IRA member Bobby Sands is imprisoned in Northern Ireland. Denied political-prisoner-of-war status, he initiates a hunger strike. This is the true story of real IRA bombers during the peak of the troubles in Northern Ireland, 1981. The screenplay was adapted from Sands' real diary, which he kept for the first 17 days of his 66-day hunger strike, until his ultimate death. The story follows a visit to Bobby by his mother. However, the cold British Guard (Bale) is quick to end this visit, throwing Bobby's mother out! |

我只看過Some Mother's Son 對於主角桑德斯對於理念與原則的堅持深感敬佩 在台灣能有其人嗎? 不知您都看過? 感想如何? |

請問這兩部片的中文片名是什麼
又 第一部與"以父之名"有什麼關係嗎 海報上片名的上方那行應該是以父之名的英文片名對吧 我記得以父之名最後IRA的成員是有被抓到 就是絕食抗議的那些人嗎 |

"Some Mother's Son"在對岸的中文片名是"赤子雄心", 製作群跟"以父為名"是相同的, 編劇和製片就是Jim Sheridan.
