富士成功發展出16倍DVD-R染料?!

Fuji Film succeeded in development of the optical disc technology for 1X - 16X recording on DVD-R Thursday, 6 November 2003 Fuji Photo Film announced that has developed a new dye material for optical discs which can offer 1-16x recording speeds on DVD-R media. The newly developed organic material opens the way for designing new DVD-R media appropriate for achieve transfer rates up to 177.28 Mbit/Sec. Compatibility with the current DVD players is expected to be high, according to the company. FujiFilm has managed to achieve low jitter as well as high reflectivity characteristics when recording DVD at high speeds, where the recording parameters are generally hard to control. Moreover, the material will offer a lifetime that exceeds the 100 years. Although the 16x DVD-R recording standard is expected to be officially announced next year, FuJiFilm said that the first 16x DVD-R drives will be available by the end of 2004. Basic characteristics: - New dye technology offers outstanding optical characteristics under simultaneous heat applied at 16x DVD recording. - High signal quality in a wide speed range from 1X - 16X on DVD-R, very good optical characteristics in the laser power variations. - Stable operation and high compatibility - Lifetime reaches the 100 years under normal conditions, estimated with the "Arrhenius model" Main specifications: Recording wavelength: 650nm NA: 0.6 Thickness: 1.2 Mm (0.6 MmX2) Recording layer: Organic coloring material Track pitch: 0.74 micrometers Shortest record pit length: 0.4 micrometers Recording speed: 1X-16X Data transmission rate: 11.08 (1X) -177.28 (16X) Mbit/sec 看來DVD燒錄機規格之戰還未完 還可以再觀望一陣子 本來今天要去買Plextor-708A的... |

不錯喔^^ 那是不是意味dvd燒錄器進入割喉戰囉 如果消息是正確的話 想必再過一段時間 dvd燒錄會更普遍喔~ ^^ |

新技術是不斷推出的，高倍速之外還會有雙層燒錄，以後還會有藍光雷射燒錄，你要觀望多久？ |

是不是16倍不是問題,問題在是不是便宜的單面雙層,52 倍的CD-R是不 一定

16X DVD-R機子那有得等了！
DVD-R 機子不是已卡在 4X 技術瓶頸嗎,以致於PIONEER 才以 DVD Dual 取代. 8X DVD-R 機子都沒個影, 16X DVD-R空片研發出來,我看暫時是噱頭罷了！ 真要期待! 不如把目標訂在 16X DVD+R or DVD-RAM 還比較實際! (如果 16X DVD+R 上市時,8X DVD-R 都還沒現世,那DVD-R也就自動被市場淘汰了) |

科技一日千里，所謂的「瓶頸」總會被突破的，DVD 燒錄技術總有一天會像今天
的 CD-R 一樣，一部 DVD 燒錄機只賣台幣 1200 元的日子很快就會來到的。 要多久？我認為兩年內。 你認為不可能嗎？那就等著看吧。 引用:

怎麼感覺好像是以前CDR/RW 4x->8x的歷史翻版.
這樣看來8x的壽命可能不長了 |

重看我自己的發言好幾遍,我只是說"有得等",可沒寫"不可能"3個字, 我是提醒前幾位把目標訂在 16X DVD-R 而繼續等下去,而且憑藉"研發出16倍DVD-R染料"的新聞,就以為好像很快就能在市面上買到16X DVD-R燒錄機(某位還寫明年第二季),那真是"有得等" 不知您看懂我的發言嗎？ |
