ATI Radeon GlideWrapper~~
8500可以支援 3dfx glide~~那其他radeon有支援嗎??
不曉得這個話題以前有沒有討論過??(因為論壇搜索功能是關閉的...) 有喜歡glide介面的大大試過嗎?po一下你裝後的感覺... 如果會跟本身的驅動程式有衝突或glide驅動BUG還很多的話我就不裝了... 就我所知,如果用glide介面玩暗黑或其他有支援glide函式庫的遊戲時,畫面在切換時很有效率,不會等很久..... 以下是我目前找到的版本: ATI Radeon GlideWrapper by ZeckenSack (v0.59) This lets you play 3Dfx games with Glide on Radeon cards. Game compatibility (words from the author): 1)... fine Unreal I Quake2 3dfxGL Robo Rumble 3D Pandemonium 2 (improved) - pixel perfect on Radeon8500 and up Rayman 2 (new entry and improved) - pixel perfect on Radeon 8500 2)... with minor glitches Wing Commander Prophecy - the videos are messed up (pink) Unreal Tournament - some depth precision problems in multipass, a tad slow Subculture - issues with the water surface in the standard FPU codepath, strangely enough it's perfect with 3DNow ... map overlay is missing MDK - fast enough now but some screen flashes and explosions are still messed up UltraHLE - some games look weird, but try it Red Baron 3D (improved) - ingame menu is jerky and shows font corruption, the game itself is fine now 3)... with major glitches Joint Strike Fighter - entirely too slow to play, pink shadows around hud text Test Drive 4 (improved) - overlay graphics/weather effects missing Gex 3D - and I thought, I had fixed it for good ... Ultima IX - bah ! 4)... or rather not Need for Speed 2 - interesting ... Uprising - what a mess ... and painfully slow as well Starsiege Tribes - don't try that at home ATI Radeon only!!! ATI Radeon GlideWrapper 模擬的是Glide 2.4
而暗黑用的是Glide 3x |

我記得ff7支援的是dx5.1,而ff7的readme也沒有在配備上註明任何和glide有關的資訊(雖然用voodoo2跑ff7的畫面不同於其他顯示卡的畫面,但現在有的遊戲用ati或nv跑出來的畫面也是有差異啊...),就算用hypersnap抓ff7的圖若只開glide模式也不會成功....雖然voodoo支援glide是眾所皆知的事,可是那個時候已是glide和d3d並存的時期...glide沒有居於獨霸的局面,而voodoo也不只支援glide而已....
真正用glide跑出來和d3d有差的是nfs3,最致命的原因是因為新的顯示卡只能在d3d下開到800x600,就算是voodoo2sli只要用regedit把它調成d3d模式也會變成同樣下場,而用glide模式就可以開到1024x768....我在網路上還看到修改後用v5可以設定成1600x1200的抓圖...看到口水都流出來 而1024x768的畫質清晰度和800x600是不同等級的....800x600頂多算是640x480的強化版,車牌還是一樣模糊..... 本來用nfs3的d3d模式跑出來的畫面遠比glide醜,還好可以用nfs4相關的d3d檔替換,得到好一點的畫面,但是和glide的感覺還是不同.... 此文章於 2003-03-13 12:23 AM 被 halohalo 編輯. |

竟然這樣我就不裝了....
好像裝了也用不到,而且又不是模擬3.0的... 浪費時間....哀... 作者為何花時間寫這個模擬程式呢?? |

寫各種模擬程式的人何其多,雖然常常只有少數幾個是比較好用的....你總不能把其他的作者當作豬頭吧 ..... 寫這種模擬程式本來就不是一蹴可及的事啊 |
