Radeon 8500 was designed to run (relatively) uncomplicated scenes as quickly as possible, whereas Wildcat III was designed to run very complicated scenes acceptably
基本上Wildcat III跟8500的設計理念完全不同,
擅長的領域也不同。
真的拿Wildcat III來玩game的話,
那400 MPixels的 peak theoretical fill rate實在是太低啦!
絕對被8500電好玩的。
不過奇怪的是Beyond3D為何不拿FireGL 8800出來跟Wildcat III一決高下?
FireGL 8800如果OpenGL的performance比8500強50%以上的話,(跑3D APP)
那跟Wildcat還有得拼。
