首先，更正一個觀念，8.2是MANDRAKE這家公司的產品編號，和LINUX的核心版本沒有關係。所以不能說是LINUX8.2.....
把/etc/inittab 裡面的第一行沒有#的那一行改成
id:5:initdefault:
注意是runlevel 5
[# vi /etc/inittab
進去後用方向鍵移到你要的位置，然後按"i"即可編輯
做好後按一次Esc按鍵
然後輸入:wq或是:x然後按Enter之後會儲存離開]
如此一來，開機預設會進x-window
或者你現在的狀況
在console下
# startx
就可以進去了
