Hammer系列會有
SleageH*****/K*，專攻高階伺服器版本，最高8CPU SMP的有1MB L2 Cache
內建128bit DRAM Controller,940根PGA封裝
ClawH*****/K*，專攻工作站及桌上型版本，最高2CPU SMP，應該是以512K
L2 Cache起跳，一說有64Bit DRAM Contoller，一說無,754根PGA封裝

註：2CPU~8CPU的H*****家族都是以Opteron為產品名稱
只有single CPU桌上型及筆記型的ClawH*****才以Athlon + 某個字尾來做為產品名稱
全部內建128KB L1 Cache(D:64K,I:64K)，.13 SOI在德國Dresden廠製造
桌上型據預定是今年十月出貨，SledgeH*****及Mobile H*****則是明年上半會
相繼發表，明年下半ClawH*****也轉進0.09 SOI製程
VIA,SIS,nVidia都會在明年第一季發表對應晶片組
K＊初期主機板要U$ 200左右，而CPU要U$ 400左右，並不便宜

舊有K7，Thoroghbred(.13,256K)照預定發表(五月)，Appaloosa取消
，下半由Barton(.13,512K)接手，Duron未來將逐步淡出低階市場
上述CPU將漸改由台灣UMC(聯電)代工，所以我們現在可以大聲的說
請愛用MIT的AMD CPU!!!^^Y

另外的消息
Intel今天也發表Itanium 2，原研發代號Mckinley，跟AMD較勁意味很濃
內建三層式Cache..
