Not perfect, but frequently close thereto. Nowhere does the video significantly mar the enjoyment of the film.

A good selection of tracks (especially if you watch the Japanese one), and excellent sound design put to both subtle and powerful cinematic effect.

The selection of behind-the-scenes materials is better than almost any anime DVD out there, except perhaps Jin-Roh. Two subtitle tracks is pretty interesting, too.
