I remember that I once saw on certain foreign website saying that WindowsXP SE is just the original WinXP plus service pack 1.
Thus if the price of Windows XP first edition could really come down,
it still worths a purchase.
However because of the product activation procedure is indeed quite inconvenient, I'll be hesitating before really getting one in my hand...
