I'm using AIW Radeon 32M DDR. My CPU is AMD
[email protected] 512M DDR, HD is 7200RPM. I'm using MMC 7.5, I set recording quality to best (DVD 720*480 30fps 8Mbits), It never lost any frame if I don't run any other application when I'm recording. 7 mins record file is around 400M, but that's ok, if you have 20-40G space left. It's enough for recording 2 hours movie. Then you can encode it to divx3.11 SBC, the final bitrate can be controlled around 1000K to 1500Kbps, so that the final file size will be around 700M for 1 hour movie. I never used any other TV-in card, so I don't know how it is compared to others, but the interesting thing is the processed file actually looks better than the original file because u can use deinterlace and bilininar (maybe spell this one wrong).
