這一部講述美國六Ｏ年代外星人著名疑案的電影由李察吉爾主演
導演是描寫恐怖主義佳作無懈可擊（Arlington Road）的Mark Pellington
天蛾人並沒有預期中的好票房
後勢與口碑的發酵值得觀察
這部也是值得期待的Ｘ檔案類型電影
