75DRV2, Dragon+

Both mainboards would run without any problems at 150fsb (note the DRV2 and 3Dmark2000), I was hoping for at least 160mhz from either product. I was happy to see that the DRV4 did not show the same reluctance to run at lower multiplyer ratios exhibited by the DRV2. Lowering the ratio on the DRV4 however did not help as the DRV4 refused to run stable at any speed above 150fsb. The ram used has been tested beyond 166mhz, memory timings were lowered and voltages increased to 2.7v, but 150 remained the limit. Seeing Epox's 8KHA+ running at much higher speeds is a little discouraging, and I really wonder how tomshardware described the DRV2 as the 'overclocking king'. If these 2 samples are anything to go by, then the status of overclocking king is somewhat exaggerated or misplaced.
