Spool32.exe is a 32-bit Windows 95 or Windows 98 component that manages the spooling of print jobs. Spooling allows the computer's processor to quickly process a print job by temporarily storing it on the hard disk before sending it to the printer. This allows the processor to return control to the program from which you are printing at a much faster rate than if the program were to process the entire print job and then send it directly to the printer. Spool32 error messages can occur if something is preventing the print job from being spooled correctly.

SPOOL (Simultaneous Peripheral Operation On-Line) 代表使用者在利用
週邊設備執行某一項工作時，還能夠同時在線上操作電腦系統。
SPOOL 通常應用的範圍是低速的週邊設備，例如印表機，因為通常在使用者
列印報表時，必須等待印表機將報表印製完成之後，才能繼續工作。
SPOOL 的觀念是利用輔助儲存媒體 (通常是磁碟機) 的一塊區域存放要印製
的報表資料，作業系統提供某些程式在背後 (background) 不斷的將磁碟當中
報表的資料送往印表機，則使用者在下達印表的命令之後，便可再做其它工作。
在 MS-DOS 當中的 PRINT 命令，便是用來做類似 SPOOL 的工作。而Windows
是多工系統，本身已經有完善的列印管理程式來達成此功能。

Why do people have problems with Spool32?
In an environment where there are very few outside influences ( such as network connections, cables, NIC's, third party printer software, and so on ), you have very small odds of getting a spool32 error. When you throw other factors into the original Windows 95 printing sub-system, conflicts, bugs, and other issues can very quickly develop. In most cases, spool32 errors occur in networked environments. The most common of those environments is a mixed Windows NT/Netware environment, or a lone Netware environment.

只有這麼多了,spool32 error大多是發生在networked的環境,我不太熟,而且查到的錯誤訊息大多是發生在列印時,而你的是一開機,試試將列表機的驅動程式升級更新或是關掉一些printer的utility試試,我也不太清楚
