Martin Scorsese has been busy these past few months filming his latest project in Italy.
'Gangs Of New York' might tell the tale of a group of 19th Century American mobsters, but most of the film has been shot in Rome. As usual Scorsese's latest effort features a whole host of stars, including the likes of Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio and Daniel Day-Lewis.
Although the film isn't released in the US until Christmas, Popcorn has managed to get hold of some photos from the film's set, including one of Day-Lewis that looks like he's auditioning for the role of Willy Wonka in 'Charlie And The Chocolate Factory'. Either that or he's just got back from a round of golf.
Our images also feature Leonardo DiCaprio looking distinctly urchin-like with long straggly hair, and brown cap. There's also one or two pictures of the elaborate set, which looks like something out of a Charles Dickens novel.
The film is released in the UK on February 22, 2002, but click on the links below to get a sneak preview of the film.
