DTS Kicks Off 10th Anniversary at CES
Las Vegas (December 20, 2002)--DTS (Digital Theater Systems) will be holding theater-style demonstrations of DTS surround sound technologies during the 2003 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 9-12. Exhibiting at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall Meeting Room #N251, DTS will highlight DTS Neo:6, DTS-ES, DTS 96/24, and DTS Interactive applications for the consumer electronics and entertainment industries. Celebrating 10 years since the company's founding in 1993, DTS will also be giving away copies of a brand new DVD-V demo disc (#7), the most feature-rich DTS demo disc to date.
The hosted demonstration will feature music, DVD and game clips that show off core DTS multichannel sound technologies. Visitors to the LVCC meeting room who attend the demo will be eligible to receive DTS' new demo DVD-V #7. The DVD includes DTS 5.1-channel clips from The Bourne Identity, Behind Enemy Lines, The Fast and The Furious, and Fantasia 2000. The disc will also include DTS-ES matrix clips of E.T. and Minority Report, as well as DTS 96/24 clip from Chronos.
Additionally, demo disc #7 also provides DTS-ES discrete music video clips from Sheila Nicholls, Insane Clown Posse and other DTS Entertainment artists. Additionally, DTS executives will be participating on the following panels during 2003 CES:
