Yes, it has been confirmed that the "5 star collection" product line is dropped. The existence of this product line is controvertial as many other Special Editions released by Fox have pretty good performance that rival that of the 5 star collection line.

Since many older 2 disk sets, such as Abyss, Fight Club, are replaced by newer 1 disk and 1 disk P&S versions, thus making the 2 disk sets out of print. There is also speculation that Sound of Music is going to be out of print because there alreaday are 1 disk and 1 disk P&S versions.
