In theory, cakes have layers of goodies on top.
A pie is surrounded by a hard case, round and bottom, somtimes on top too.

As cheese cake, I think is at least a hard case at the bottom.
Then just a pile of stuffing? No layers, nothing special on top?

So... technically, I still don't get it.
However, that's irrelevant. The point is just go eat it. Dinner too.
And possiblity, watch a movie, and talk over coffee or something.
