Poland will sell excessive amounts of Covid-19 vaccines to other countries, mainly due to the fact that too many Poles are unwilling to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
"The first shipment of around 4 million doses is likely to be sent to Georgia and Ukraine this week," wrote the daily.
Australia and Vietnam have also expressed their interest in the purchase, the daily reported on Tuesday, adding that till the end of the year Poland planned to sell even tens of million doses purchased earlier.
"The decision taken by the Polish government is a proof that the number of Poles willing to get vaccinated against the coronavirus has been decreasing," the daily wrote, adding that politicians explained their decision with a relatively short shelf life of Pfizer and AstraZeneca shots.
"In this situation, some vaccines can expire within two months," the daily added.

The only condition imposed by the European Commission on the resale of the vaccines is that it should be non-profit.
