日本跟同盟國的和平條約是新日本國政府簽的，大日本帝國沒簽 所以最終和平條約根本沒簽，原因是卡在蘇聯，因為當時蘇聯佔領北韓（參考：日蘇共同宣言）與將開穴
日本從古早就是雙元首制度 天皇跟幕府將軍
1946年律法分離 原本帝國議會分兩部人馬 貴族院歸朝廷(大日本帝國) 眾議院變日本國政府，朝廷沒人無法運作所以大日本帝國政府現在處於放假階段。(法人還在表示法律上沒被消滅) 天皇在新日本國政府只有象徵性與蓋印章功能
大日本帝國在日本本國的領土範圍只有京都寓所(皇居) (參考義大利與梵蒂岡(羅馬教宗)案例)
在海外部份 按理說 台灣跟朝鮮應該還是屬於皇土
