Robert Sacre: Waived by Pelicans

Sacre was waived by the Pelicans Friday.

Sacre had been battling a foot injury through training camp, and his inability to get on the court ultimately cost him a chance at making the team. Sacre has been unable to be a legitimate contributor in the NBA and will likely find a better opportunity for playing time in the D-League or overseas.
