在 that 引導的名詞子句 (當受詞用) 中，又套入了兩個由 who 所引導的關係子句 (形容詞子句)。這個句子的主句的主體是 a survey reveals that...。子句的結構比較複雜 -- 主詞是 the anti-science tag (反科學的標籤)，動詞(片語)是 has been attached to (被貼到)，受詞是 many other groups，後面用了一個 from sb. who...to sb. who...的結構來舉例解釋這些 groups 包括什麼人。...

其實我覺得底下那堆文法的說明很詭異，哈哈
你說有甚麼書有在教這個？其實就是文法書，可是看那個對我來說效率很低，我會直接拆結構來看，前面後面串起來就至少能懂八成
就我的習慣，這段話有三個結構
1. A survey of new stories in 1996
2. anti-science tag has been attached to many other groups
3. Authorities who advocated the elimination of the last remaining stocks of smallpox virus 與 Republicans who advocated decreased funding for basic research
你再回到中文翻譯去，你會發現中文的翻譯其實就是上面那三段的組成而已
