Is Paint Compatible With Other Photo-Editing Programs?
Paint and these other applications must be in a flat, layer-free common format: BMP, JPEG, TIFF, PNG or GIF. If you want to open an image containing layers in Paint, you must first export it as a flat image from the original editing application.
