第三季平板出貨量統計






IHS數據顯示，Apple季減2.3%，Samsung季增23%；Asus跟Lenovo由於低基期，雙雙成就驚人的87%跟94.6%的季成長。

累計前三季共1億4300萬台出貨量，Apple跟Samsung各擁33.5%跟20.1%的市占率，雙A加總約占8%。
IDC數據與IHS的較大差異在Samsung跟Acer各少了30萬台。

The preliminary read from IDC showed Q3 shipments of 47.6 million units, lower than IDC predicted despite 36.7% growth and my own projection for 54% growth, indicating tablet trends may be moderating faster than expected, although we expect Apple’s recent iPad announcements could result in strong 4Q numbers. As smartphones continue to creep up in size, with some offerings having screens as large as 6 inches, we think the tablet market could encounter increasing headwinds, especially in the cellular-capable tablet segment. We believe these tablets could see limited traction as the segment is more expensive for many users and also can be seen as redundant for users already in possession of smartphones. In other words, smartphones could be driving a crowding out effect, whereby users effectively see their smartphone as their tablet.

對比前端出貨79.3M（Displaysearch）跟後端銷售48M（IDC、IHS）數據，可見40%落差。

Overall global tablet PC shipments are expected to reach more than 255 million units in 2013, capturing nearly 60 percent of the mobile PC market. By 2017, shipments of tablet PCs are forecast to reach 534 million units, or 76 percent of the mobile PC market.

Strategy Analytics報告指出：
Global Total Tablet shipments reached 52.0 million units up 17% from 44.3 million in Q3 2012, driven by a very strong quarter from Android based vendors.

Canalys統計（加總平板、筆電、桌機）顯示，第三季平板占比40%，2014年則占比50%，來到2.85億台，超越傳統PC；2017年更增至3.96億台。



Gartner則預估2013年平板出貨量1.84億台，年增53.4%！
