HTC One、One mini內含的Qualcomm晶片侵犯Nokia專利EP 0 998 024, 英法官網開一面,自12月6日起僅禁售One mini,遞延One的禁售令讓HTC上訴。Nokia擬就專利侵權部分向HTC求償。今年前三季,HTC累計在英國售出75萬支智慧機。
Considering blocking U.K. sales of the One would cause “considerable” damage to HTC, an injunction against the product has been delayed so HTC could appeal. The HTC One phone contained microchips that breached Nokia’s patent.

The cases are HTC Corporation v. Nokia Corporation, High Court of Justice, Chancery Division, Patents Court, HC12A02048 and HC12C02909. HTC sold about 750,000 smartphones worth about 221 million pounds ($363 million) in the U.K. between January and September, according to the judgment....

US - Nokia won a preliminary ruling at the ITC over two patents, and the result could be a U.S. import ban against HTC's Android-based devices.
Germany - the Munich I Regional Court will announce on
Friday (December 6) a ruling on a German Nokia v. HTC case over a USB-related patent (not a SEP, but it appears rather powerful). At the September trial Nokia appeared to be on the winning track.
