samba是linux實現cifs/smb/smb2的實做,spec就在網上,自然沒侵權問題。只是這整套不只這些protocol而已,spec也不一定完全易懂,很多都是看封包猜來做反向工程,samba一開始也是如此。現在我知的實做除了samba外,就剩蘋果了。但這些都有相當實力,可以得到微軟的支援。微軟不合作,最後反而會這玩意被放棄。
很多不願意加samba應是gpl本身問題,客制更容易踩線。水果本身就是不爽這,自己後來出來自己搞。不過水果很有計畫性,在前兩三年高峰時samba變gplv3時一次就把samba給踢了,因為錢多了可以請很多人自己弄一套。
